Andrews

In The Mad Mage of Sevendor, Andrews is one of the nine memory-ghosts in Minalan's mind and likely a distant Terran colonial ancestor. He was a Colonial Exploration Corps officer and reserve military man who participated in the original survey and settlement of Callidore. His memories are practical and action-oriented: he is suspicious of magic yet a skilled horseman, tactician, and student of military history. When his memory dominates, Minalan reorganizes the Vanadori Guard into a professional standing army on colonial military doctrine principles. Andrews also allows Minalan to activate and communicate with the Constructed Intelligence Ariel, and recognizes the ancient Colonial Defense Force dagger gifted by Lord Commander Aleem.
