Doge Grigor was the last legitimate Doge of Farise before the Alshari invasion and subsequent chaos. Corrupt and ineffective, he installed Orril Pratt as Prime Mage — a catastrophic decision that contributed to the city's fall. He died or was deposed before the events of Practical Adept, but his legacy haunts the institutions Minalan inherits. He possessed some Talent. Admiral Nuadis's loyalty to his appointment provides one of the few threads of institutional continuity.
