Moudrost Dryspeaker

In The Mad Mage of Sevendor, Moudrost Dryspeaker is a seamage who serves as the Vundel's representative and liaison to the Drylanders. He arrives at Sevendor to collect the second snowstone mountain from Minalan's holdings in exchange for vast wealth in metals, corals, and crystals. He is the father of Ruderal, Minalan's aide. In a profound and game-changing conversation, Minalan reveals to him both the existence of the Snowflake (the crystallized essence of a Celestial Mother) and the discovery of the last surviving Celestial Mother's egg in Anghysbel. Moudrost is shaken to his core by these revelations, cycling through astonishment, anger at Minalan's temerity, and deep sorrow at the implications. He pledges secrecy and agrees to consider how best to inform the Vundel.
