Duchy of Merwyn

Duchy ยท Independent

One of the two eldest sons' duchies โ€” the "fabulous Merwyn" โ€” granted by King Kamaklavan to one of his favorite eldest sons. A sea-trading power with ancient roots.

Merwyn was described by King Kamaklavan as "fabulous" and was granted to one of his two eldest sons from his first marriage โ€” his favorites. Merwyn has long been a center of learning and maritime trade. The Tower Arcane in Alshar received representatives from great Merwyni houses. Schools of magical learning in Merwyn taught "refinement, culture and civilization" in contrast to the more practical Kasari traditions of the western wilds.
