The ducal capital of Remere — one of the oldest cities in the kingdom, a ring of stately domes and obelisks that served as a provincial capital even under the old Magocracy.
Remeralon is the ducal capital of Remere and, as Minalan discovers when he visits for the installation of a Remeran Waystone archway:
One of the oldest and most venerable cities in Remere and well worthy of being its capital. Indeed, it has served that function since the region was a mere province of the Magocracy. The city is the seat of Duke Cloafin of Remere, and the political home of the Remeran branch of the royal family — Princess Armandra is the daughter of the Count of Remeralon, niece of Duke Cloafin, and cousin of Count Camavon. Armandra's quiet piety was formed in a temple of Ishi in Remeralon, where she was educated as a consecrated novice before her politically significant marriage to Prince Tavard.
Remeralon is one of the cities Minalan connects directly to Sevendor and Vanador through the arches in Marshal Arcane, placing it within the core ring of Waystone-connected capitals:
