Barony of Sendaria

Sendaria sits astride the river routes of the lower Bontal, with Sendaria Port serving as its commercial hub and the principal inland harbour of the region. It is a rural barony of small manors, birchwood country, and the domain of Birchroot on its fringe. Under Arathanial it has steadily recovered Lensely lands lost to Sashtalia over previous generations. The barony was once far larger, extending from Sendaria Port past East Fleria, but over generations rebellious liegemen and rival factions fractured the domain.

Arathanial became one of Minalan's first and staunchest allies after Sevendor proved its strength. Sendaria's armies, swelled by Sevendori gold and warstaves Minalan gifted, waged the Sendari–Sashtalian war, which ended with the destruction of Sashtalia as an independent power. The barony remains the political centre of the traditionalist Riverlords who support the magelords rather than resent them.
