One of the two eldest sons' duchies — "rich Vore" — granted by King Kamaklavan to one of his favorite eldest sons. The northernmost of the Five Duchies, bordered by the Narasi steppes.
Vore was described by King Kamaklavan as "rich" and was granted to one of his two eldest sons from his first marriage — his favorites. Situated in the north, Vore bordered the Narasi steppes from which Kamaklavan's own armies came. The province of Pors in southwestern Vore was notably the origin of Brangalan the Earthmover, a powerful mage who found a witchstone in the Kulines about a century before the Conquest. Vore's proximity to the old barbarian frontier shaped its military culture.
