The ramshackle, sprawling timber hall of the Master of the Wood -- seat of the independently-minded Westwood estate of Sevendor and Dara's childhood home.
Westwood Hall is the seat of the Westwood, the forested, fiercely independent yeomanry of Sevendor whose dark-complected folk stand apart from the rest of the vale. The Master of the Wood -- Dara's father -- rules it from a rambling hall crowded with siblings, aunts, uncles and cousins.
It is the manor closest to Sevendor Castle, the one Minalan visits last in The Secret of Westwood Hall, and in The Talon and the Flame Dara hosts the newly installed Baron Arlastan of Taravanal there in her first awkward attempt at noble hospitality.
