Insight is Sir Tyndal's working baculus, paired to Slasher and built for the mission profile he ended up with: shadowmage, intelligence-gatherer, and quiet lethal hand. Where a battle baculus like Forge's Fury is a heavy infantry staff, Insight is short, dark-hafted, and fitted with a small recessed shard meant to be hidden in a sleeve or the head of a walking-stick.

Its enchantments lean toward the perceptive and the precise: long-range scrying, listening-spells, charm-binding, and a silent strike-spell that puts a pursuer down without sound. The Enultramar infiltration was Insight's graduation work; in skilled hands it is one of the deadlier objects on Callidore.
