Slasher

Slasher is the working name Sir Tyndal gave the long-edged mageblade he was issued out of the Bouleuterion when he was raised to knight magus. The pattern is a Wenshari long-sword, hilted in yltedene steel and pommelled with a small bound shard, bound through standard mageblade enchantments to its bearer's witchstone.

By the time the Magelaw was a duchy in all but name Slasher had cut down a Censor in the Penumbra, ridden the wall at Timberwatch, gone south as a minstrel's prop in the Enultramar infiltration, and stood point at the relief of Anjak's tower. The blade is technically the property of the Order of the Horka, but no quartermaster has ever dared ask Tyndal to turn it back in.
