Avius

Avius is a Dragon encountered during the expedition into Anghysbel. Dragons are ancient, powerful, and largely independent beings in the Spellmonger world. Avius's presence in Anghysbel adds a dangerous and unpredictable element to the already perilous journey, and interaction with this ancient creature shapes the course of the expedition.

Fondaras, Rolof, and Ameras present the dragon eggs to Avius at her lakeside abode in Anghysbel. She takes charge of them, names Minalan her friend, and accepts that the expedition's departure from Anghysbel is necessary before the jevolar fully re-asserts itself.
