Described in Book 2 as gigantic β Hesia uses him as her disguised idiot son because of his size, implying a very large and imposing physical presence. Carries a massive mageblade, described as a foot longer than Minalan's in Book 1. Behaviorally: enthusiastic about violence to the point of excess, going out of his way to maximize his nightly kill count during the scouting campaign. Too willing to indulge in sudden displays of violent anger to be useful as a diplomatic envoy. Loud, confrontational, and impossible to restrain once committed to battle. Clashes with the Duke of Alshar over orders but is ultimately overruled by rank. Leads warmagi-supported cavalry in the western assault and personally clefts four goblins through their midsections with one blow. Works with Landrik and Rustallo on a specialized attack against the dragon. Dies at or near the Battle of the Escarpment β listed among the missing comrades.
