In The Mad Mage of Sevendor, Tuaa Folauga is one of the nine memory-ghosts — described as the oldest human relative revealed to Minalan by Szal the Yith. He was an ancient warrior-scientist, veteran of nearly a hundred pitched battles, who carries the unbearable weight of grief over the violent loss of his entire family. His scientific understanding of the cosmos, masa energy, and quantum mechanics proves crucial in helping Minalan understand why the snowstone spell has been failing, ultimately pointing toward Local Sidereal Time and masa fluctuation as missing variables. On the battlefield at Darkfaller, his intimate knowledge of the Paranchek arachnoid species helps Minalan identify and survive that horrific creature. His quiet, non-assertive nature makes him one of the more bearable ghosts.
