Magical Order
The official governing body of magic within the Kingdom of Castalshar, established by Minalan the Spellmonger as the primary institution managing warmagi, irionite distribution, and magical policy.
The Arcane Orders serve as the formal institutional voice of magic within the Five Duchies. Minalan the Spellmonger effectively heads the Orders, overseeing the distribution of witchstones, the certification of warmagi, and the collection of fees from licensed practitioners. A grand Conclave brings the leading magi together periodically to deliberate on policy. The Orders maintain a chapterhouse in Castabriel (the kingdom's capital) and a chapterhouse in Sevendor. Genthil, Pentandra's former assistant, later took over day-to-day administration of the Orders' capital headquarters.
