The Iron Band is a professional mercenary organization active throughout the Alshari Wilderlands and the city of Vorone. They operate as a disciplined professional force in regions where feudal authority is fractured, particularly in the chaos following the goblin invasion. The Band regularly took on recruits from the surplus of desperate men displaced by the war, and was often used as a resource by Pentandra and Minalan's operations in the region. Their presence provided a stable military option in areas where the Duke's forces had not yet fully re-established control.
