The Perwyn city from which the Sea Lords came — lost when the island sank.
Barselon was one of the six great cities of Perwyn, and the one specifically identified in the colonial archives as "from where the Sea Lords came." It was the maritime cradle of the people who would, after the sinking of Perwyn, scatter across the coasts of the Shallow Sea, founding the Coastlord houses of Alshar and the Sea Lord lines that endure in Farise and elsewhere. Barselon itself, with the rest of Perwyn, was lost when the island sank at the end of the Magocracy, leaving the Sea Lords to carry its memory forward in their bloodlines and their trade.
