One of the great cities of Perwyn during the Colonial Era — lost when the island sank.
New Caerdydd was one of the six great cities of Perwyn listed in the colonial archives, grown during the seventy-year Colonial Era. It was lost with the rest of the island at the sinking that ended the Magocracy. Its name suggests a Welsh-derived colonial naming tradition, one of the few remaining clues to the Terran origins of the early colonists.
