Nagulib

The Nagulib stand at the apex of the Formless' servant hierarchy — the most powerful of the vassal species bound to the ancient imprisoned evil in the Deeps. Their power is demonstrated by their most significant act: the creation of the jevolars, those terrible spaces where magic is inverted and life is made hostile and strange.

A jevolar is not merely a dangerous place but a fundamental disruption of the natural magical order — a wound in the fabric of Callidore's magical environment. That the Nagulib can create such things speaks to their terrible potency. In a jevolar, conventional magic fails, conventional life struggles, and the normal rules of the world do not apply.

The Nagulib represent what the Formless' influence looks like when it is given form, will, and the capacity for complex action. They are not mindless monsters but beings of genuine power and purpose — that purpose being the service and eventual release of their imprisoned masters.
