Rulathi

The Rulathi are the Alka Alon Kindred of the sea — the emigrants from Alonaral who know the Songs of the seas and who follow the ways of the Vundel, the Sea Folk. They are the Alka Alon most at home on the coast and on the water, and the kindred through whom most Alka Alon–Vundel diplomacy is conducted.

Their settlements sit on the Shallow Sea and the southern coasts, and their councillors are indispensable whenever the Alka Alon need to communicate with the Leviathans — a task that has grown increasingly important as the Shallow Sea reefs have declined and humanity's snowstone trade has drawn the Vundel back into active engagement with the surface world.
