Tyndal's Enultramar Infiltration

With Duke Anguin's court still scrabbling for footing in Vorone, Sir Tyndal and Sir Rondal devised an audacious joint operation into rebel-held Enultramar targeting both the Brotherhood of the Rat and its chief fence and power-broker, Relinn Pratt.

The scheme had two interlocking halves. Two allied magi — Iyugi and Gareth — posed as rogue apprentices who had stolen Tyndal and Rondal's original witchstones (the pair each carried before Minalan upgraded them to stones from the Spellmonger's Seven) and were quietly shopping the purloined gems to criminal buyers across Alshar. Meanwhile, Tyndal and Rondal began systematically destroying Brotherhood of the Rat safehouses, warehouses, and counting-rooms up and down the Enultramar coast, loudly demanding the return of their stones at each wreck they left behind.

The Brotherhood, battered and furious at the mounting destruction, eventually decided the cheapest solution was to broker the sale themselves — bringing Iyugi and Gareth under their protection and arranging a transaction that would, in theory, send the two rampaging knights-magi home satisfied. This was, of course, precisely what Tyndal and Rondal had engineered from the outset. The Brotherhood's decision to act as honest brokers placed Relinn Pratt and key Brotherhood leadership directly in the open, giving the pair the intelligence — and the opportunity — they needed to hurt Pratt and dismantle Brotherhood infrastructure throughout the region.

A critical enabler of the operation was the pair's use of the Alka Alon Waystone network. By accessing the Alka Alon ways, Tyndal and Rondal were able to appear and disappear across Alshar with bewildering speed, striking far-flung Brotherhood locations before any coordinated response could be mounted. Waystones were placed throughout the region in the course of the operation — a distribution of active Waystone access points that would carry significant implications for later events in Alshar.

The mission produced a wealth of actionable intelligence — maps, ledger-leaves, and exposed Brotherhood contacts — on which Pentandra and Mavone would later build the broader campaign of restoration.
