Tuervakothel

Tuervakothel is a sylvan Alka Alon refuge held by Lady Fallawen of the Tree Folk, one of the three ambassadors (with Ithalia and Varen) who took up residence near Sevendor. It sits in the quiet wooded country not far from Sevendor, accessible through the Alka Alon transfer points that connect the Tree Folk realms.

After the Battle of Olum Seheri, the Nemovort Mycin Amana was captured and placed in Fallawen's care at Tuervakothel, a particularly pointed arrangement because Mycin Amana was responsible for the death of Fallawen's mother. The keep thus became both a diplomatic residence and a secret interrogation site during the events of Thaumaturge and Arcanist. In Hedgewitch the keep is raided by the Enshadowed, who successfully free Mycin Amana. Fallawen's own wedding to Sir Ryff is later held there, and her twin sons are born at the keep with Lilastien as midwife — the Natal Spark for a new generation of snowstone research.
